This annual Rotary Club of Aspen event has been held for over 25 years. The day begins by picking up a group of seniors in four-wheel drive vehicles about 10:00 AM on a Saturday in late September and ends after lunch and entertainment at one of the Braun Huts. The caravan heads up into the mountains on a jeep trail, leisurely stopping to take pictures of the gorgeous fall colors of the beautiful aspen trees.

Also at 10:00 AM another group of Rotarians, friends and family drive straight to one of the cross-country ski huts where the seniors’ group will arrive later, prior to lunchtime. This group has volunteered to spend several hours working at the hut, cleaning up the area and cutting and stacking the winter's supply of fire wood that will provide heat in the hut for the many cross-country skiers that will enjoy the winter snow for skiing and the warm hut for their overnight stays. A few members of this group set up the lunch area and cook the food.  For more information about the Fall Leaf Tour, please contact Committee Chair Justin Barrow at justin@sandysofficesupply.com
