The Rotary Club of Aspen's Community Grants Committee is inviting Valley-wide nonprofits to apply for funding support. Applications are due December 17, 2025. Visit the Community Grants page for full details and to download the application.
Rotary’s motto is “Service Above Self,” and the Aspen Rotary Club puts that into action year-round. One of its largest community efforts is the Annual Ducky Derby, a beloved local festival that raises nearly $200,000 each year. Youth groups and nonprofits sell ducks to support their own programs, while Rotarians raise funds for the Club’s ongoing service projects.
A portion of these proceeds—about 30% of Ducky Derby profits—is awarded as Community Grants to local nonprofits. These grants prioritize organizations focused on education, health, and human services, especially those meeting clear community needs, reaching a wide number of people, and demonstrating long-term sustainability.
Nonprofits interested in applying can visit the Community Grants page for more information and to download the application.
